Ezbet El-Nasr 2

Project details

Schaduf implemented the “Ezbet El-Nasr 2” project in partnership with 7Up, as this was one of the first projects of its kind in Cairo and Egypt in general. The project aimed to provide 60 families with rooftop cultivation equipment, with the aim of generating additional income through the cultivation of leafy crops. In this project, 80 farmers, 4 engineers and 2 supervisors were trained.

Project results

The project succeeded in forming a network of beneficiaries estimated at 60 families, or about 240 individuals, who were provided with 25 rooftop farms with 90 planted units. In a total area of 340 m2. The total production of the project amounted to 11220 cups.
