Schaduf is the landscape and sustainability consultant for the 50 acres university campus in the new administrative capital of Egypt. The project is the first of its kind in Egypt and will serve as a regional center for Canadian higher education in Egypt and the Middle East. Our role included the preparation of a 10-year sustainability strategy, landscape architecture design for the outdoor spaces and the design of a 27m high indoor vertical garden. the design philosophy in this project aims to design a pilot landscape project to be followed, leading the way for sustainable development in the new Administrative Capital in the future.
