The Refugees Project

Schaduf implemented the “Refugees” project in partnership with the IOM Foundation, as this was one of the first projects of its kind in Cairo and Egypt in general. The project aimed to provide 4 families with rooftop cultivation equipment, with the aim of generating additional income through the cultivation of leafy crops. 30 farmers were trained in this project.
Project results
The project succeeded in forming a network of beneficiaries estimated at 5 families, or about 30 individuals, who were provided with 1 rooftop farms with 6 planted units. In a total area of 2 m2. The total production of the project amounted to 210 cups.
