Girls Project

Project details

Schaduf implemented the “Girls” project in partnership with Banati Foundation, as this was one of the first projects of its kind in Cairo and Egypt in general. The project aimed to provide 50 girls with rooftop cultivation equipment, with the aim of generating additional income through the cultivation of leafy crops. 25 farmers and 2 supervisors were trained in this project.

Project results

The project succeeded in forming a network of beneficiaries estimated at 50, or about 30 individuals, who were provided with 2 rooftop farms with 2 planted units. In a total area of 4 m2. The total production of the project amounted to 630 cups.
